Hey all, am just back from a three week car shoot out west. Will post more and lots of thoughts about what worked and what didn’t on this shoot.

I will say that if you haven’t visited Telluride and Moab, you should.

Cold, but beautiful.

  1. where is the hood man? Those cutters are a bit bulky to block the light!

  2. Thanks there, buddy. We had a full gaff truck on set so it wasn’t much of a problem to run 4×4’s. I was just setting up when I decided to take this pic. After this the gaffer ran a few more flags and all was good.

A hood is of relatively limited use when three people are trying to view all at once, plus the gaffer didn’t have a 4 sided floppy, so we just cobbled this together. Client was super mellow and we managed just fine. Had a lot of fun that day.
